In the end, the public fervor towards Germanicus and Agrippina was so intense that Tiberius
felt compelled to hand Piso over to the court. However, Piso cleverly chose to drive a sword into
his own throat, causing his instant death.

Caligula, whose full name was Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, was born on
August 31, 12 in Antium and was assassinated on January 24, 41 in Rome. He was the third Roman Emperor. He reigned from 37 to 41, succeeding his adoptive father Tiberius. He was the son of Agrippina the Elder and Germanicus.
